Very beautiful and peaceful place to visit, lovely tranquil and therapeutic place to sit and be in your own little place..... or just a lovely walk. Perfect for all ages, children's play area,tennis courts, plenty of seating around lake and park, cafe during busier ( Non Covid) times. Amazing place to visit!!
Just visiting the area and walked into this lovely park. There was a children's fund raising event going on so quite busy. We had lunch from the onside tearooms it was amazingly good and not too expensive.
I love walking my dog up here, other than when I'm picking up other people's dog poop. There is a nice walk around the park with a good space for your dog to run (only if they are good with other dogs), litter bins and rubbish bins all over, playing park for the kids, tennis courts, a duck pond, and a river working up and around the top of the park down to the middle.
Great fun for the kids to scoot or bike round. Also amazing the effort they put into decorating the park for Christmas and Halloween
Lovely little park, free parking, lovely gardens, great little stream that runs through the park and sports facilities tennis etc. A hidden gem and a credit to the Ifracombe Council for keeping it well maintained.
